A Good News For The Cancer Patients- Hot Sauce To Beat Prostrate Cancer

There came a happier twist to the stories on health benefits of hot sauce when an eminent scientist, Phillip Koeffler from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, US along with his colleagues discovered the inhibitory effects of capsaicin on the prostrate cancer. What they found was a dramatic decrease in the development of malignant cells on the prostrate glands of mice treated with increasing dosages of capsaicin extracts. To be more specific in the explanation, the capsaicin enhanced the suicidal tendancies of the tumor cells, a quite natural process, through which the cells die off, without harming the surrounding cells.

The increase in dosage increased this tendancy up to 75%, and that means the tumor can be prevented from developing throughout the life time, when capsaicin is given in small dosages. The statistics might seem encouraging for the gastronomics who fish for reasons to add hottest hot sauce in their routine diet. Again, this is not a solid reason for you to go to the extremes with your hottest hot sauce, reminds the scientist. The chemical is found not to prevent cancer, but to reduce the pace of development, once occurred. The best part is that, the hot sauce finds another factor to remain unbeaten among the preferences of foodies.
